Salzburg is a city with lots of good restaurants, however, it's not easy to find one just wandering around the old town. And if you find a nice one, chances are that it is fully booked. Make sure to figure out where you want to go and order a table before you get hungry.

Mokkar

Sas u. 4, Budapest
Tapas, mediterranean food, large choice of wine. Rather posh. Both for dinner or just for drinks.
Kempinski Corvinus

Erzsébet tér 7-8, 1051 Budapest
If you book early in advance you might get quite good rates for this 5 star hotel. Spoilers: a 20 per cent city tax will be added on top of the price and you cannot afford anything else in this hotel. Only breakfast and parking would be the price of a single room at some reasonable hotel. Nice spa, though, maybe only a little small for a hotel of this category.

Rainerstrasse 6-8, A-5020 Salzburg, t +43 662 88 978-0
Typical American standard hotel chain as they come by the dozen. But very high standard indeed. Pool, sauna, and a very(!) impressive breakfast buffet. Centrally located, 10 minute walk along the river Salzach to the old town.

Edel & Scharf
Am Yachthafen, 18225 Ostseebad Kühlungsborn
Pimp up my Currywurst!
Poshest currywurst stand North of the Alpes. At least. Enjoy the traditional sausage along with a glass of Pinot Grigio or Moet and enjoy the fantastic view. Very scenic sunsets. Located next to Vielmeer.

Friterie Antoine
Place Jourdan, 1040 Brussels
Reportedly the best friture in Brussels. Get your paper bag of frîtes with mayonnaise or one of approximately 25 sauces and sit down just opposite at 'Chez Bernard' and have a drink. They are totally ok with you bringing in your food.
Really.
Café Belga

Place Eugène Flagey Plein, B-1050 Bruxelles, t +32 2 640 35 08
Hip coffee house and bar, always packed with the young local Brussels crowd. In the summer you can sit outside – if you find a free table. Make sure to get some cheese with your bière blanche.
